LZ 127 Zeppelin is by far the most renowned type of Zeppelin airship to ever exist, setting the benchmark for future airships. Between 1900-1938, the GmbH Zeppelin company built over 100 Zeppelin airships in 27 different variations, the largest being LZ 129 in 1938 (245m length, 41.2m dimension, 200,000m3 volume). It featured 4 Daimler diesel engines, powering it to a maximum speed of 131 km/hour & range of 12.000 km, enabling it to travel to Japan, North & South America to transport passengers, post & freight. This particular model is one of Graf Zeppelin’s most popular. It has an impressive aesthetic, combined with a Swiss Ronda quartz movement & 2nd time zone (adjustable).
