The North Flag embodies the spirit of the watch that inspired it, a model worn by the British North Greenland Expedition in 1952. So the release of the North Flag in 2015 was an interesting one for collectors because the watch paid homage to a little known expedition in the 1950’s and the case was very evocative of the Tudor Ranger II. The most interesting thing about this new watch however was the movement, the first in-house movement that Tudor had fielded, and more unusually for a member of the Rolex / Tudor family, the movement was exposed in an open caseback.
The North Flag has been unfortunately discontinued with no successor and so prices have been steadily rising
