LZ 127 ZEPPELIN were the most influential Zeppelin airships ever, achieving a level of success never seen before. From 1900 to 1938, the Zeppelin Company GmbH constructed more than 100 airships in 27 variations, with the biggest being LZ 129 in 1938. This model was 245 meters in length, 41.2 meters in dimension, and had a total volume of 200,000 m3. Powered by 4 Daimler diesel engines at 4,200 PS, it could reach speeds of 131 km/h and had a range of 12,000 kilometers, allowing it to transport passengers, mail, and freight to Japan, North and South America. This watch features a tasteful, retro design and is equipped with a Swiss Ronda quartz chronograph movement with a date window at the 3 o’clock.
